Farming requires faith.
Despite all best efforts to account for every contingency when raising crops, the inherent risk of the profession requires farmers to maintain a healthy balance of internal fortitude โ and faith. For farmers, faith comes in many forms: faith the sun will shine to provide energy for crops to grow; faith that timely moisture will arrive and make a difference; faith that harvest will be safe and successful; faith that everything will work out in the markets and the bottom line. The list goes on.
