I think it’s fair to say, I have the coolest job in the world!
As a producer, it’s my daily joy and privilege to invite someone in agriculture onto the SharkFarmer SiriusXM show. For thirty minutes, I get to step into their world and hear their story, see life through their eyes, and uncover what makes them tick.
Together, Rob and I dive into the integral parts of their journey:
- How they grew up.
- The mentors who shaped them.
- The experiences that molded their work ethic.
- And the family dynamics and relationships that guided their choices.
Every week, someone tells me, “Oh, I’m not that interesting… why would you want to talk to me?”
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard that! My response never changes: “Everyone has a story.” Because every time someone shares theirs, it sparks something in someone else. It might inspire a new idea, give someone courage to make a big change, or help another person realize they’re not alone. Every interview leaves me feeling a little better, a little more inspired, and a lot more aware of how beautifully diverse this ag community truly is.
