Ag PhD: Search and Learn activity – Look for 10 “Search and Learn” posters hidden around the Ag PhD Field Day site! Each poster has the answer to an agriculture-related question. Find all 10, fill out your answer sheet, and bring it to the Kid Zone to claim your prize!
- Avera Health: Poison control look alikes educational materials for youth. Children will put their skills to test and see if they can spot which liquid or solid is not healthy for them. Example; Blue Powerade versus Mr. Clean Cleanser.
Farmers Union: ATV Simulator and many topics to deal with farm safety.
Hefty Seedlings: Create a search and find activity to learn about various corn and soybean by-products!
SD Beef: The SDBIC + SD Junior Beef Ambassadors will be handing out kid friendly beef nutrition + activities, beef swag and teaching kids about what cows eat!
SD Corn & SD Soybean: We will be creating feed rations (Beans Make Bacon; Corn Makes Cows)
Sioux Valley Energy & Southeastern Electric Cooperative: Power Town display for kids to identify safe and unsafe actions.
- Zoomobile: Display of animal artifacts and a chance for kids to meet live animals up close. This interactive display is available from 8:30 – 10:30am.
