One way we’ve found that can spread the workload and free up some time later in the spring is spraying in a timeframe we call super early.

Everyone’s definition of super-early spraying will be a little different based on these factors:

  1. Geography
  2. Climate
  3. The Particular Season

In our area, frost usually starts coming out of the ground in March and is fully out when we start planting around April 10. Around here, pretty much no one is in the field doing anything during March in nine out of ten seasons. Therefore, March is usually my definition of super-early spraying, but here’s what we’re shooting for.
