Soils Clinic – Baltic, SD

Tuesday, February 17th | 10am – 3pm CST
The Morton Center
47669 252nd Street Baltic, SD

During your farming career, you may invest millions of dollars on crop nutrients!!! If you knew how to read a soil test and make your own fertilizer recommendations, don’t you think you would be able to invest your dollars more wisely? There are many decisions you have to make on the farm each year, but in our opinion, the most profit-impacting choices are usually fertility-related. During this seminar, we will go through how to read a soil test and how to determine which nutrients need to be applied and when. Bring your soil tests along and Darren, myself, or one of the 30 or so trained soils agronomists we’ll have in attendance can help you with your specific questions. By the time you leave, you will have a much better idea on how to best invest your fertilizer dollars. We encourage you to bring your family for this event, because we feel training the next generation on soil testing is one of the most valuable things you can do if you want your land properly cared for in the future, not to mention having your operation stay economically viable. Fertilizer decisions have never been more important, and we want to empower you and your family to take control of these choices with confidence.

Corn Workshop – Baltic, SD

Wednesday, February 18th | 10am – 3pm CST
The Morton Center
47669 252nd Street Baltic, SD

We’ll help you navigate all the challenges in your corn fields, including exploding corn rootworm populations, disease resistance to fungicides, new diseases like tar spot and old ones like southern rust, weed pressures that feel uncontrollable now that Roundup doesn’t work well and you may be cutting back on dicamba to avoid drift issues, and fertility costs that make some farmers want to cut back somehow, someway. Join us for this Corn Workshop, and you will go home with a great plan of attack that will help you make 2026 one of your best years yet. If you are a corn farmer, do not miss this important day!
