After we complete our series of workshops each winter, we often get a lot of phone calls and e-mails.  Here’s an example of one that I received:

I had the privilege of attending your workshop in Tempe, AZ this spring and found it to be the most informative ag meeting I have ever attended.  The array of subject matter was outstanding, and your presentation was one of “agriculture improvement” and not a sales forum.  Thank you for assembling such a workshop, and I look forward to attending the Mesa 2012 meeting.

If you have never attended an Ag PhD Workshop before, please understand that we are absolutely in no way there to try to sell you anything.  Our goal has always been to do whatever we can to help you raise better crops economically, thereby leading to more on-farm profit.  We have been extremely blessed both on the farm and in business, and this is our way to say THANK YOU for helping us over the years and for watching Ag PhD TV.

As you can imagine, Darren and I have to be somewhat politically correct on TV and on the radio.  We also don’t have time to get into as much detail as we would like.  At these workshops, we can openly answer your questions, cover topics and issues we might choose not to on TV or radio, and we can provide you a 100+ page agronomy booklet so you can go home with even more information than what we can go through during the day.  You’ll have fun, eat well, and hopefully go home with a few good ideas.
