I know. You don’t like rebate programs. I don’t like them either, but I do like saving 10 to 20 percent in many cases, and that’s what some of these rebate programs can do for you.
Below are the highlights of some of the available rebate programs. This is certainly not a complete list, and I encourage you to talk to your retailer and attend one of our Winter Agronomy Workshops for more details and complete program rules, minimums, and qualifications.
AmVac – AmVac has a discounted price on SmartBox systems for orders by Dec. 31. They also have a rebate of up to $65 per gallon on Xpedient FC insecticide for liquid fertilizer equipment purchased through July 31.
BASF – $75 per gallon rebate on Headline, Headline AMP, Priaxor, and Twinline. Must purchase by March 16. $10,000 minimum.
Bayer – Bayer has offers on everything from seed (Liberty & InVigor) to fungicides (Stratego YLD & Proline) and herbicides (Autumn & Olympus). In most cases, you must purchase additional Bayer products to qualify, but the rebates on some products are very large.
Dow – Purchase a minimal amount of two or more Mycogen Seed products and receive a rebate on both the seed ($2 to $40 per unit) and any Dow crop protection products ($0.25 to $0.50 per acre).
FMC – Earn up to a $40 rebate per gallon on Capture LFR insecticide for liquid fertilizer equipment purchased through June 30.
Monsanto – Roundup Ready Plus is back, with rebates similar to last year. They’ve also brought back the corn bundles, so you can get a Harness brand or TripleFLEX and receive $1 to $1.50 per acre back. Impact is $3 to $3.50 per acre in corn, also. In soybeans, the range is $2 to $4.50 per acre on products including Warrant, Fierce, Valor, Cobra, and the Authority brands. You must purchase Roundup PowerMAX or WeatherMAX to qualify.
